Social Development department reiterates commitment to enhancing SASSA services

Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her help and commitment to increasing South African Social Security Company (SASSA) services all through an engagement while using the agency's senior administrators at a strategic arranging session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled within the 2024 matric examinations.
On the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for that National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing 81% in the registered pupils during the schooling sector.
These learners realized a commendable pass rate of 86%.
